If you’re looking to travel to the Caribbean, Barbados is the place to go! Barbados is along a chain of islands that sit in the Caribbean sea. Barbados is one of the most densely populated islands in the world. Before traveling you’d need to know a little bit of history about Barbados as it was founded by Portuguese explorers. It’s part of the British commonwealth and actually called “Little England” so upon traveling to Barbados don’t worry about any language barriers their main language is English. The island of Barbados is a multi-cultural and diverse community. You will find some people using an English-based creole called Bajan. Bajan meals are a favorite here, which include cou-cou with fried fish and gravy. These meals usually often contain chicken, fish, and pork, along with rice and okra. Some sights to see in Barbados would include Bridgetown as the city is very rich in old history and Caribbean culture. Another sight to see would include the beautiful white sandy beaches and clear blue water that indulges its various marine wildlife.
